So you are probably wrapping a lot of gifts if you are reading this.
Snippets of paper, ribbon, tissue paper, organza, pieces of wire, sequins, price tags, pieces of mangled tape ad infinitum. The mess never ends with gift wrapping, but the outcome is amazing, someone’s beaming face when they get your gorgeous gift. Or if it were a child, you could wrap their gift in a used Filet o’ Fish wrapper and they’d still be excited. Regardless, you’re classy and have some fancy gifts on hand. Now it’s time to clean up.
A couple things I like to do when wrapping gifts:
1) Get gift cards instead, they are much easier to wrap. Kidding. Okay.
2) Cut open a large garbage bag and lay it down on the table. Do all of your wrapping on the garbage bag. Then when you are done, collect up the corners of the bag and dispose of it. You’ve effectively contained all of the wrapping mess and your house is none the dirtier.
3) Use a handy lint roller to zip up any of the rogue clippings that have fallen on the chair seat or floors. Instead of dragging out the vacuum, employ this little cheat instead.
Happy wrapping!
